2022 'Cottage' Signature Series

This wine captures the essence of the Barossa, where history, tradition, and community are intertwined with every vine. The story begins with The Cottage, built by the Schrapel family in the 1860s. It was home to Elma, born in 1905, who lived here until 1970. Passing hands to Jan and Craig Rogasch who have always embraced the Barossa spirit by restoring this cherished piece of local heritage. The shadowing vineyard, established in 1975, thrives in the storied soils overlooking The Cottage. From these old vines, we present the limited release Cottage Reserve 2021 Shiraz - a wine that embodies the enduring connection between the land and the generations who have lovingly nurtured it.
